Healthcare IT founder is latest addition to NC-based tech company’s board.

“We’re thrilled to add Chris to our board,” said PrecisionLender CEO Carl Ryden. “He’s taken Kinnser to the levels we will soon reach at PrecisionLender. His insights and experience will be invaluable.”

PrecisionLender, the world’s leading pricing and profitability platform for commercial banks, announced today that Chris Hester, President of Kinnser Software, has joined its board of directors.

Hester founded Kinnser Software in 2003, when he saw an opportunity to increase the efficiencies of home health and hospice providers. The company now has over 4,000 customers and annual revenues have grown from $11 million to $68 million in the past five years.

“I’ve known Carl Ryden and Ken Garcia (PrecisionLender co-founders) for several years and have watched as they’ve built PrecisionLender into a powerful company with a promising future,” Hester said. “I’m excited to help guide PrecisionLender into its next growth phase.”

Hester joins PrecisionLender at a time when its growth curve is continuing to steepen. The company’s clients used the software to price nearly $100B in loans in the second quarter of 2017, $31B more than its previous high — set in the first quarter of 2017. PrecisionLender also added a top 10 U.S. bank as a client earlier in 2017 and is expanding internationally.

“We’re thrilled to add Chris to our board,” said PrecisionLender CEO Carl Ryden. “He’s taken Kinnser to the levels we will soon reach at PrecisionLender. His insights and experience will be invaluable.”
