Author Daniel Sando’s New Book “A Life Of Success, Love, And Destruction” Is Based On The Story Of A Former Football Star Whose Life Spirals Out Of Control
(PRWEB) September 08, 2017 -- Daniel Sando, who played a small part in this fictionalized account of a true story, has completed his new book “A Life of Success, Love, and Destruction”: a tragic story about a promising life cut short by drug use and the inevitable bad choices stemming from their use.
Robert Smith, a supremely talented young man from Louisiana, goes to college to play big-time football, where he meets the love of his life. While on track to become an All-American and top professional football prospect, he injures his knee and his NFL aspirations are gone forever. He marries his college sweetheart, but cannot cope with the reality of missing the lucrative contracts and associated wealth and prestige associated with playing pro football.
He starts using drugs, gets involved in various shady relationships, and eventually becomes part of unlawful activities that make him a secret fortune. He conceals all of this from his wife, which he justifies in his mind because of his football injury and his resentment at her own professional success. His life becomes filled with more drugs, physical encounters, gun violence, and tragically poor decisions that eventually lead to his demise.
Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Daniel Sando’s cautionary tale details a promising life cut short by the deadly allure of drugs and crime.
Readers who wish to experience this compelling work can purchase “A Life of Success, Love, and Destruction” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Kobo, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
