3Pillar Global Opens New Delivery Center in Iași, Romania to Meet Demand For Product Development Services

The company has grown organically from its first office in Romania in Cluj-Napoca to also include offices in Timișoara and now Iași. 3Pillar is one of the few international companies to open operational offices in all three sub-centres in Romania - Timișoara, Cluj-Napoca, and Iași.
The Iași development center is an important strategic step for 3Pillar’s growth and has been in the works for over a year. The model 3Pillar has applied successfully in expanding the Cluj-Napoca and Timișoara offices will also be followed in Iași. Determining factors in the decision to open a new office in Iași were the existence of an important university center and a large number of qualified graduates, the qualification level of software specialists and their availability on the labor market, and the possibilities of extending the operations and the infrastructure of the city.

The office has a total area of 700 square meters and is located in the central area of the city, in Moldova Business Center. The company anticipates the Iași office will host approximately 50 IT engineers and specialists by the end of the year. Following the model of the offices in Cluj-Napoca and Timisoara, 3Pillar will look to extend the center in Iași to reach at least 100 employees.
At the development center in Iaşi, 3Pillar will look to attract senior and middle-level specialists with a minimum of 2 years experience in software engineering and proven skills in technologies used to develop web applications (Java, Python, Ruby on Rails, Front End), mobile (iOS and Android) and automated testing.
