SIG is Hosting Chief Procurement Officer Event in Seattle
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) September 07, 2017 -- SIG, the premier membership organization for sourcing, procurement and outsourcing executives, today announces the return of the CPO Meet and Eat Program to Seattle on September 14, 2017 for a third quarter forum of Chief Procurement Officers. Each quarter in 2017, sourcing and outsourcing executives are gathering for a three-hour CPO networking event and breakfast meeting to discuss issues they are facing in their organizations. The group’s fourth quarter meeting will be December 6, 2017.
The CPO Meet and Eat will take place at Boeing, where an exclusive group of C-level executives will convene to discuss their priorities for the year, share a meal and hear from other CPO peers. CPO Meet and Eat events include a keynote presentation and a “day in the life” conversation by local CPOs.
The morning commences with a welcome and introductions, followed by a keynote from Boeing. Two CPOs will share a “day in the life” at their organizations and the event concludes with an open roundtable discussion on the issues, challenges and most pressing concerns for the executives in the room. “By inviting only the most senior procurement leaders, CPOs are better able to share and network with each other making for an unparalleled day of networking,” said Stephani McGarry, Chief Engagement Officer, SIG. “The three hours fly by as the CPOs are able to tap into each other’s expertise and walk away with tangible solutions to challenges they face.”
