Z-Medica Supports Friends of Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital
Wallingford, CT (PRWEB) September 12, 2017 -- Z-Medica, LLC, a leading developer and marketer of hemostatic devices, announces that they are supporting the Friends of Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital with a $10,000 contribution to this year’s Annual Fund.
This year, the foundation is focusing on helping to expand the hospital’s Obstetrical and Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NNICU), the largest expansion in its history. The hospital’s NNICU is one of the oldest in the country.
“Z-Medica sells life-saving products all over the world, but as a Connecticut-based company, we also have an obligation to help those closer to home,” says Z-Medica President and CEO Stephen J. Fanning. “To that end, our involvement with the Friends of Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital is a way we can help give back to the community with a focus on helping infants, newborns and their families.”
There is still time for others to donate or to be a sponsor of the foundation’s Third Annual Ball, scheduled for Saturday, November 18, 2017, at the WoodWinds in Branford, CT. This year’s event will honor Alice, Kurt and Eric Hummel, who will receive the Marna P. Borgstrom Lifetime Friend Award, the foundation’s highest honor.
