ChicExecs and Clients Pitch in to Help Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts
(PRWEB) September 08, 2017 -- Making landfall on August 25, Hurricane Harvey has destroyed Southeastern Texas. With rains flooding Houston and thousands of people fleeing the steadily rising water, the worst is not yet over.
According to CNBC, Harvey has become the most powerful hurricane to strike Texas in more than 50 years. With more than 30,000 residents of America’s fourth-largest city left homeless, and the cleanup costs stacking up to over $40 billion, ChicExecs and some of their select clients are pledging their time and money to help victims of the storm.
Collecting items for the San Diego Rescue Mission’s Harvey Relief drive, the team behind ChicExecs is coming together to donate essential supplies for Texas-bound trucks providing help for victims and their families. Supplies include pet food, baby items, toiletries, clothing, blankets, utensils and more.
With ChicExecs' network of 40,000 brands, they have launched an initiative called GiveBack Stock™ as a way for entrepreneurs to donate their overstock products to help make a difference through disasters and other charity initiatives. Matching reputable 501c3 non-profit charity needs with products available for donation from brand partners, GiveBack Stock™ takes excess product and finds a home through non-profit, such as products needed for silent auctions to raise money, outreach at charities, holiday gifts for those in need, or at rehabilitation homeless centers.
In addition to gathering items through their network for a local charity, ChicExecs Clients have also been taking on various initiatives to help.
Little Goodall - Through a program entitled Hats for Houston, Little Goodall will be donating the net proceeds from all bonnet sales for the month of September to the Texas Diaper Bank Disaster Relief Program.

Mother Trucker & co. - Donating 100% of proceeds of their Texas style hats to You Caring to help all those affected by Harvey.
