Specialty Technical Publishers (STP) and Specialty Technical Consultants (STC) Publish New Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Audit Protocol for Belgium, Flanders
Vancouver, B.C., Canada (PRWEB) September 12, 2017 -- Specialty Technical Publishers (STP) announces the release of its EHS audit protocol for Belgium, Flanders. This audit protocol covers relevant Belgium Federal and Flanders EHS requirements, as well as directly applicable EHS requirements for the European Union. The regulatory date for this release is March 2017. Note: Since the regulatory date for this release, the Belgium government restructured Federal health and safety legislation. The health and safety requirements are now incorporated into the new Code of 28 April 2017 on the Welfare at Work (Codex van 28 april 2017 over het welzijn op het werk), which entered into force on 12 June 2017. The new Code did not adopt any new requirements and did not amend or repeal any existing requirements. The purpose was to consolidate the previous health and safety legislation into one comprehensive piece of legislation. As such, all requirements in this protocol are still valid and up to date through the publication of the 2017 Code. Correlation tables showing how the regulatory citations in the previous legislation match the regulatory citations in the new Code are available here (last accessed August 2017). The text of the 2017 Code is available here (last accessed August 2017).
