“Season Of Destiny”: the adventure of two women working on the dangerous front lines of the Trans Alaska Pipeline. “Season Of Destiny” is the creation of published author, Sharolyn Dawn. Born in Ellis County, Texas, Sharolyn Dawn grew up traveling the country with her family. Her father’s work as a side boom operator required them to follow the oil and natural gas pipelines. Civilization, as she knew it, was not all that interesting. The desire for adventure was, however, quietly waiting in her spirit. The Trans Alaska Pipeline opened a new world of adventure for her. Her father’s opportunity to work on that line made the adventure of a lifetime a dream come true for Sharolyn.

“Seasons of Destiny is based on a true story with personal names changed to protect the guilty and there is plenty of guilt to go around.” -- Sharolyn Dawn

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Sharolyn Dawn’s new book is an adventure on the front lines of the Trans Alaska Pipeline.

Using questionable, perhaps illegal, means to obtain State Residency cards and proof of required working hours, Casey Lynn and her sister-in-law, Jill Southern, hoped to be hired out by the Culinary Union, in order to work on the Trans Alaska Pipeline. When Casey and Jill scheme their way into the wild world of a TAPS support camp, they unexpectedly step into a world of unimaginable dangers, romances, and passions.

With no law enforcement present to protect them from the dangers of the Alaskan wilderness, which include extreme weather, bears, drunks, and violent encounters, they quickly discover the dangers of TAPS. Facing a ratio of 100 men to every one woman, Casey and Jill join a gang for their own protection. They quickly learn the value of a good knife and constant vigilance, but fortune and glory are calling and Casey’s destiny is changed forever.
