"I can't even see where it was broken off. This is amazing what they have done," said Dweezil Zappa.
Fort Wayne, IN (PRWEB) September 13, 2017
Sweetwater Sound recently repaired the broken neck stock of Dweezil Zappa’s favorite Gibson guitar, which was damaged during an airline flight to Fort Wayne. The result was a guitar that looks and plays as if brand new.
Upon arriving in Fort Wayne for GearFest 2017, world-famous guitarist Dweezil Zappa discovered his airline had “modified” his prized Gibson SG — its head stock was snapped completely off the neck. Fortunately, Sweetwater’s master guitar techs are up to the challenge.
In the embedded video, join Sweetwater repair tech Joe Albright as he walks you through the damage, and shows how he approached this monumental repair — you won’t believe the results.
