Kansas City, Mo. (PRWEB) September 12, 2017 -- As the steel supplier and fabricator of choice for commercial and industrial construction, Midland Steel Company is proud to host tours of its Wathena, Kansas, facility in honor of SteelDay, Friday, Sept. 15.
SteelDay is the annual celebration of the structural steel industry, and it is sponsored by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC). Members and partners of the AISC host various educational events throughout the country in honor of this day.
“We’re excited to help promote this vibrant industry,” said Roger Bibens, President of Midland Steel Company. “We’re reaching out to technical schools, community colleges and four-year colleges throughout our region to give students a chance to get better acquainted with our industry.”
Midland Steel Company is centrally located to all of these educational institutions, providing great access to people interested in a career in the steel construction industry.
