AMA Executive Conference Center In New York City Completes Expansion And Renovation Project
New York City, New York (PRWEB) September 15, 2017 -- AMA Executive Conference Centers, a leading provider of professional meeting and conference spaces, announces the completion of a 13,000 square foot expansion and renovation project of two floors of their New York City Center. Completed on time and on budget, the build out of floor six and the refresh of floor nine included demolition to make way for larger meeting spaces with more natural light. Along with the installation of new floor and wall coverings, the project’s scope includes the addition of new technology consisting of digital room signage, built-in and iPad controlled audio visual equipment, HD projectors, LED environmentally-conscious lighting, a ‘ClickShare’ state-of-the-art system for collaborative content sharing, and the re-installation of an Info-Rail System (wall-mounted flipcharts).
Throughout this project the New York City Center has remained operational – with management taking extra care to ensure that the needs of clients were accommodated. Now that the renovation and the ‘soft launch’ is complete, this new space is available for client use. At the project’s completion, the AMA New York City Center is now over 90,000 square feet, and features 43 meeting rooms in total – making it the largest conference center located in Manhattan’s theater district.
Highlights of the new and refreshed meeting spaces include:
• 21 Meeting Rooms – Added are a variety of rooms to accommodate flexibility in group size and setups, with access to new lounge areas and built-in beverage stations.
• Business Reception Lounge – This new sixth floor space is 2,500sq. ft. that features arched windows overlooking Times Square and a modern customer service desk that’s perfect for meeting registration. Offering lots of natural light, the reception lounge is perfect for post meeting and conference cocktail receptions.
• Private Executive Meeting Suite – Newly added, the 800 sq. ft. stand-alone suite includes two meeting rooms, food and beverage area, a lounge area and restroom. This private meeting space is perfect for small focus groups, board meetings, and can be used as a hospitality suite.
As Summer comes to its close, meeting planners are working to place last minute 2017 meetings at venues and are starting to plan their 2018 meeting needs. These refreshed spaces within AMA’s New York City Center are poised to make this venue ideal for those looking for something new with all the perks of location and affordability. “We’ve been a value leader in this space in Midtown Manhattan for many years now,” shares John Murphy, Director of US Conference Centers, Events & Travel. “This renovation project was an update that we recognized the demand for and are proud to have completed. With the largest areas of this Center renewed we’re happy to announce that it will come online for client use just in time for Fall – the busiest time of the year in New York City for meeting planners.”
