Michael Schildcrout, a creative writer with a PhD degree in physics who worked in the Naval Intelligence for 34 years, has completed his new book “Mousie and Lousie Return to Mars”: an interesting tale on Mousie and Lousie, fraternal twin mice who live in Mouseville, a community of intelligent mice and their return to Mars with the help of Professor Ushgloshkiss Vernes, an eccentric genius.
Author Schildcrout shows readers that revenge is not the way to go: “In his rush to get away, Mousie realizes he has left something in his pocket that does not belong to him: seeds for growing green cheese. He takes them out, and when Lousie sees them, he says, ‘Mousie, do you realize what you have there? That is our ticket to getting rich. We can start growing and selling green cheese. Everyone in Mouseville will want some.’ Mousie thinks a moment and replies, ‘The Martians betrayed the Frataslas, but that does not mean we have to.’ Then he makes a small fire in a bowl and tosses in the seeds.”
Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Michael Schildcrout’s enchanting book vividly paints the fictional way of life in Mars, opening the faculties of imagination of the readers as they think about anything extraterrestrial. Animals are used as main characters in a creative and profound way.
Readers who wish to experience this wonderful work can purchase “Mousie and Lousie Return to Mars” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play, Kobo or Barnes and Noble.
