Leading fraud prevention event series educating thousands of merchants stops in New York, Boston, and concludes with virtual event.

Kount, a leading innovator of solutions for fraud and risk management, today announced the final leg of its renowned Fraud360 World Tour. The 2017 tour will host two in-person events, one in New York on Tuesday, September 19th and another on Thursday, September 21st in Boston, before concluding with a four-hour virtual event on Thursday, November 2nd. Created for professionals in response to the ever-changing landscape of payments and commoditization, tightening regulation, and the need for a more secure payments environment, the Fraud360 World Tour has reached thousands of merchants in nearly two dozen cities throughout the US, Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.

Originally launched in North America in 2014, Kount’s Fraud360 World Tour has expanded to include more partners and sponsors, such as BlueSnap, CardNotPresent.com, Chargebacks911, Internet Retailer, Mastercard, and WhitePages, among others. Given the rapid evolution of fraud and the challenges in preventing it, demand for these types of educational events has significantly increased throughout the industry. Kount has educated thousands of eCommerce and online businesses, CFOs, CIOs, and fraud & payments managers on fraud and payments trends and solutions through the tour, with over 300 participants registered for the upcoming New York and Boston seminars.

"With innovation in fraud and damaging effects increasing every day, online merchants are more aware of fraud than ever before but lack the tools or capabilities to tackle it,” said Brad Wiskirchen, CEO, Kount. “Our global Fraud360 series has helped businesses understand the depths of fraud and put strategies in place to protect their bottom line so that they can prevent fraud before it happens. The success of the tour not only demonstrates the importance of fraud prevention in every merchant’s business strategy, but also Kount’s dedication within the industry to educating merchants in unique and compelling ways.”

The Fraud360 New York and Boston seminars will feature speakers such as Ralph Dangelmaier, Chief Executive Officer, BlueSnap; Patrick Kelly, Product Manager, Mastercard; Sam Hartung, Risk Partnership Manager, WhitePages; DJ Murphy, Editor-in-Chief, CardNotPresent.com; Nate Foss, Director of Market Development, Chargebacks911; and Don Bush, Vice President of Marketing, Kount.
