GDPR’s impact will be global, and more will be expected of enterprises that need to secure identity data while still providing a favorable app experience
Reston, VA (PRWEB) September 25, 2017
SyncDog, Inc., the leading ISV for mobile application security, today announced its latest release of SentinelSecure™, version 3.0, will be available in a managed cloud services model, available from its new product website Secure.Systems. This newest version of SentinelSecure™ comes with several new enhancements including support for caller ID and network sharing for remote users, and improved auditing capabilities for compliance initiatives such as GDPR, HIPAA, FISMA, GLBA, PCI DSS and other data security standards. Also included in this release is support for Active Directory and certificate management, with user profile management and bulk user/device management. Additionally, SyncDog has selected to deploy this release of SentinelSecure™, version 3.0, on Microsoft Azure App Services.
“With the unknown that GDPR will bring next year, security auditing and compliance in mobile is going to be moving to the forefront of IT security initiatives, and the impact is not going to be relegated to the EU,” said Jonas Gyllensvaan, SyncDog CEO and founder. “GDPR’s impact will be global, and more will be expected of enterprises that need to secure identity data while still providing a favorable app experience. We believe this latest version of SentinelSecure™ provides that, and we’ve now made it a managed service for even faster deployment with flexible pricing options.”
SyncDog’s involvement in Microsoft Ignite comes at a time when the Reston-based independent software vendor (ISV), is ramping up support for Microsoft’s enterprise mobility management (EMM) product Intune.
“Intune is quickly becoming the standard to follow for EMM, because Office 365, SharePoint and other Microsoft solutions have long been the standard for enterprise productivity,” added Gyllensvaan. “Now that these applications are staples of mobile productivity, it’s only natural that Microsoft Intune be the go-to platform for managing mobile, and we are working closely with Microsoft to align our mobile app workspace with Microsoft and other mobility productivity apps.”
