ApplyConnect®, a secure, consumer-initiated tenant screening solution, is proud to announce they have released additional report payment options. After feedback from users, the company has enabled landlord and real estate agent users the option to purchase their applicant’s background screening report.
While the platform’s default setting makes ApplyConnect® a no cost solution for landlords and real estate agents, with applicants purchasing their reports and sharing them, the new enhancement enables users to take on the cost of the report themselves (if they so desire). The report is $28.50 and includes the applicant’s full Experian® credit report with VantageScore® 3.0, a nationwide criminal and eviction background check, and a sex offender registry search.
To opt-into landlord report payments, current users will need to log into their account, go to their settings under “My Account”, and click the box under “Extra Features” that says “Enable Landlord Payments”. Users will then add their credit or debit card information under “Credit Card Payment Details Options”. When the landlord or real estate agent sends an application notification, they will be able to enable and disable landlord payments with each invite. After the rental applicant completes the application, a receipt will be sent via email to the landlord user. New users can also enable this option on the registration form while establishing their account.
