(PRWEB) September 19, 2017 -- WHAT: The local Boston office of UNCF, along with the Young People’s Project (YPP), will host its first annual 5K Walk for Education. George Forman III of EverybodyFights will be the special guest. More than 500 people are expected to attend the event. Our goal is to raise $150,000 for local college-bound students and provide support for community-based STEM educational programming aimed at preparing students from all backgrounds for success in college and STEM-education career pathways.
