The Most Dangerous Intersections In The North Country
Plattsburgh, New York (PRWEB) September 19, 2017 -- Albany, New York personal injury attorneys Martin, Harding & Mazzotti LLP® recently submitted a FOIL request to the NYSDOT seeking traffic accident data in three North Country Counties; Clinton, Franklin and Essex from January of 2015 through December of 2016. Martin, Harding & Mazzotti team members then reviewed the data to identify the most dangerous intersections in the region. The two years of data, thousands of reports throughout the three counties, was reviewed and consolidated and each intersection scored based on a weighted formula. The result is a detailed reporting of which North Country intersections carry a higher risk for area drivers.
The team in charge of the review was also able to extract additional details from the report as well, highlighting the most common accident types, weather conditions, light conditions, roadway surface conditions and even collision type. Managing partner Paul Harding said, “We received a lot of positive feedback after our first study on intersections in the Capital Region. We have offices throughout New York and Vermont, it makes sense that we help raise awareness in as many locations as possible. So, we decided to expand our study and release a series of reports to help raise awareness around each location. Awareness and safety are the primary goal of this effort.”
