"What’s most exciting is that this is just the beginning: while the business tech landscape gets more crowded and complex, our recommendation engine gets better as it’s fed more data and learns about what products work for a given user."

Siftery launched a Personalized Product Recommendations AI to help individual professionals and businesses easily discover software that would be a good fit for use at work.

"We built Personalized Recommendations to help business users answer the question “What software product should I use?“ said Vamshi Mokshagundam, CEO at Siftery. "While there are other services that have data and reviews for products, we think this is the first time a machine learning solution can be used at scale to make software recommendations that are tailored to each user."

The machine learning models powering the recommendation engine are supported by data on 33,000 software products, as well as usage and preference data from over 375,000 companies that Siftery reviews regularly.

"What’s most exciting is that this is just the beginning: while the business tech landscape gets more crowded and complex, our recommendation engine gets better as it’s fed more data and learns about what products work for a given user," said Gerry Giacoman Colyer, an executive at the company.
