CHICAGO, IL (PRWEB) September 21, 2017
Eved welcomes Josh Gray as President and Chief Operating Officer. The hire, prompted by Eved’s recent momentum, will prepare the company for significant growth and continued expansion into global markets. Eved is an enterprise software solution for spend management, purpose built for Meetings & Events (M&E). Eved services Fortune 500 companies like Dell and Abbott, providing budget management, a centralized buying channel, payment, and data insights for their M&E spend.
Gray will be responsible for execution as the business rapidly scales. Eved CEO Talia Mashiach commented, “Eved is ready for major growth. Josh brings with him the experience to help Eved achieve that growth and continue to exceed our customers’ expectations.”
Gray is an experienced operator, adviser, and leader of B2B SaaS businesses. He joins Eved from Insight Venture Partners, where he worked closely with portfolio company management teams to scale their businesses and improve operations. During this time, he also served as interim CEO of Unitrends. Notably, Gray was a member of the management team at BigMachines (sold to Oracle in 2013), where he launched and oversaw its BigMachiness Express business unit.
“I’m thrilled to join Eved, and I think it is one of the most exciting tech companies in Chicago,” said Gray. “Enterprises spend billions of dollars a year on meetings and events, but there is little control over and insight into that spend. Eved simplifies the payment process and sheds light on spend in real-time, helping companies realize dramatic cost savings on their meetings and events. With Eved, all meeting stakeholders – marketers, planners, suppliers, finance, and procurement – can spend their time on what matters most: putting on world-class and high ROI events for their customers.”
Matt McCall, Partner at Pritzker Group and Eved Investor says, "We are very excited to have Josh at Eved. He brings a unique blend of operational, strategic and innovative thinking having worked at BigMachines and Oracle, the Boston Consulting Group, and as a venture capital and private equity investor. He is a great complement to Talia and the terrific team at Eved.”
Eved is the only B2B digital payment and spend management software solution for the $770 billion dollar Meetings & Events category. The platform vastly improves the process and methods that large corporations use to request, order and pay for event services. Eved delivers increased transparency, significant efficiencies in the billing and reconciliation process, improved compliance and control, and access to one-click data insights to inform strategic decision-making.
