Dallas Bike Ride Announces Methodist Dallas Finish Festival
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) September 21, 2017 -- DALLAS – September 19, 2017 – Dallas Bike Ride, a 20-mile closed-road recreational bike ride, will debut in Dallas this fall on Saturday, November 4, 2017. Today, Dallas Bike Ride announces the Methodist Dallas Finish Festival, providing entertainment for all in attendance, whether a participant or spectator of the inaugural community bike event.

Dallas Bike Ride is proud to announce an entertainment line-up headlined by DJ Spinderella of Salt-N-Pepa. DJ Spinderella is a Grammy award winning DJ, producer, rapper, writer and world-class mother. Spinderella is one of the original pioneers of hip hop music beginning her career as a member of the iconic rap group Salt-N-Pepa, selling over 15 million albums and singles worldwide. The stage will rock throughout the event, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with beats by Petty Theft, with lead singer Mike Rhyner of Sportsradio 1310 The Ticket, and DJSC – the exclusive DJ of the Dallas Cowboys. There will also be local performers providing on-course entertainment and rest stops with water and snacks along the route.
The Methodist Dallas Finish Festival will take place at City Hall Plaza (1500 Marilla St.), the start and finish line of the Dallas Bike Ride, with sweeping views of downtown Dallas. Other activities will include: a Health & Wellness Zone presented by Cigna, a cool-down yoga session, a lounge area and photo booth from the festival host community and founding partner Downtown Dallas Inc., and treats from KIND Healthy Snacks. In addition, there will be a Kids’ Zone with family-friendly activities, a diverse food truck lineup, the official Dallas Bike Ride Merchandise Shop, a Community Bike Village, a bike-valet, and fun activities for all ages from Dallas Sports Commission, Uptown Dallas Inc., and the event’s non-profit beneficiaries BikeTexas and Incarnation House. Parking will be located near City Hall Plaza and will be available for reservation/advance payment. There will also be a pre-ride celebration in the packet pickup host community of Uptown Dallas Inc. at The Rustic on Nov 2 and 3.
Dallas Bike Ride is a family-friendly event in which participants can ride leisurely and at their own pace. Bike rentals are available through official shop partner Richardson Bike Mart.
