Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 21, 2017 -- This coming Saturday, September 23rd “Mixed Heritage Day” will be celebrated at Dodger stadium. Join us for a day of friendship, community, charity, and celebration! MultiCulti Corner events gather together people of all races, cultures, creeds, skin tones, abilities and genders. Our intention is to recognize, embrace, and celebrate all cultures and what it means to be mixed, multicultural, multiracial, interfaith, and/or part of a blended family.
The Mixed Heritage community is the second fastest growing community in the U.S.; interracial marriages are on the rise according to Pew Research Center, and 40% of all adoptions in the U.S. are transracial. Los Angeles is one of the most diverse cities in the U.S. so why not have a “Mixed Heritage Night” of celebration with our favorite boys in blue.
The Dodgers organization has invited Miles Brown star of ABC TV’s hit series black-ish to throw out the first pitch. Miles Brown has had plenty of pitch practice thanks to an exclusive training session with Yasiel Puig of the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Los Angeles Mayor’s Office will be on-site to recognize Miles Brown, Yasiel Puig, India Williams Miss California USA, and Mixed Marrow with an Inspiration Award for their continued charitable works.
Mixed Heritage Day at Dodgers Stadium is brought to life, by two very driven, dedicated and passionate mompreneurs. Delia Douglas, owner of DDHPR; and Sonia Smith-Kang, owner of Mixed Up Clothing together created Multiculti Corner, a culturally diverse community of Multiethnic people and Multicultural families hosts social, educational, and celebratory events.
We thank the Dodgers organization for welcoming back “Mixed Heritage Day” at Dodger Stadium. In an effort to give back to this growing community and continue to bring awareness, proceeds of tickets sales will support Multiracial Americans of Southern California (MASC) a 501c3 serving and advocating for the multiracial and transracially adopted community for over 25 years.
The Dodgers game vs. the San Francisco Giants will take place at 6:10 pm, on Saturday, September 23rd. Tickets are available at: http://tinyurl.com/YB8RJR9Q
