Arizona Cyber Threat Response Alliance (ACTRA) Selects phoenixNAP to Join its Advisory Board
Phoenix, Arizona (PRWEB) September 25, 2017 -- PhoenixNAP®, a global IT services provider offering cloud, bare metal dedicated server, colocation, and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) technology solutions, today announced its selection to the Advisory Board of Arizona Cyber Threat Response Alliance (ACTRA). As a leading authority on cyber security and threat response, ACTRA will provide advanced capabilities for phoenixNAP to further develop its expertise in the field and improve protection of ACTRA member organizations it serves.
Developed in collaboration with the FBI, the Arizona Counter Terrorism Information Center (ACTIC), the US Department of Homeland Security, and the FBI’s Arizona InfraGard Program, ACTRA is an independent, non-profit entity that serves as a hub for collaborative cyber information sharing in a neutral environment of trust. To protect its 14 Critical Infrastructure and Key Resources sectors, involving companies that range from Fortune 50 to mid-market, ACTRA heavily relies on the expertise of members like phoenixNAP.
“We are honored to be selected as a subject matter expert by ACTRA and we see this as an important recognition of our company’s efforts in the field of cyber security,” says Ian McClarty, President of phoenixNAP. “The ability to collaborate with ACTRA expands our cyber threat intelligence capabilities, enabling us to better understand the current cyber threat ecosystem and anticipate its development. I am extremely proud of our team members who made this possible.”
Bringing together partners from different sectors, ACTRA provides comprehensive education, information, and strategy resources to help fight the emerging cyber threats to Arizona’s Critical Infrastructure and Key Resources. As one of its Advisory Board members, phoenixNAP has an opportunity to contribute to improving the cyber security landscape in the region and raising awareness of the best practices to protect from the emerging threats.
“The collaboration with ACTRA is one of the major steps we are taking this year to enhance our cyber threat intelligence capabilities,” adds Anthony Dezilva, phoenixNAP’s Business Development Manager, Security Services. “The very fact this recognition comes shortly after our announcement of DDoS enhancements reflects our consistent focus on security. With ACTRA membership and new security products in plan, we aim to continue improving the protection of our clients and contributing to the cause of making the Internet a safer place.”
