2017 AeroTech Congress & Exhibition Shares Event, Speaker and Education Lineup for September 26-28 Show

The AeroTech Congress & Exhibition is pleased to announce that Boeing’s Global Services Vice President of Engineering, Modifications & Maintenance, Lynne Hopper will take the stage to announce a new GoFly challenge during the last of our keynote sessions at the SAE 2017 AeroTech Congress & Exhibition. Attendees will have a first look at this exciting initiative that will bring life to our childhood dreams of flying, and make something previously thought of as fantasy into reality. After two years of preparation, The GoFly Prize is finally being unveiled at the SAE AeroTech Congress & Exhibition. “The GoFly Prize is a unique opportunity to change the aerial transportation, and SAE International is very pleased to be working with the GoFly team to help make this possible,” says Robert Ireland, Vice President of Aerospace for SAE International. Industry leaders, researchers and thought leaders come together in a show feature, called the Hangar, located in the center of the exhibit hall floor, showcasing rotating programs throughout the event that are focused on visions of the future of aerospace technology as well as futuristic topics that can be transferred to aerospace engineering practices and application.
Active exhibit hall features: Lockheed Martin, Boeing Co., Siemens, among many others—to showcase products and technologies to executives and engineers from leading OEM’s, military, government agencies and academia in the aerospace industry.
Technical program will consist of five special tracks: Engage with industry leaders from top companies and organizations, including General Electric, NASA, Lockheed Martin, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, Boeing, and Ford Motor Co. as they present new research and information on Additive Manufacturing, Electric Aircraft, Cyber Physical Systems Security, Augmented and Virtual Reality Technology, and Flightdeck/Cockpit Technologies.
Special events and programs, include: the Annual Banquet to celebrate aerospace industry accomplishments, Littlewood & Garrett Awards Lectures & Luncheon to honor outstanding achievements in the industry and Technical Tours of the Lockheed Martin and Bell Helicopter facilities.
