“Women at the Well”: a poignant work on the whole beautiful concept of the healing process with God in the picture. “Women at the Well” is the creation of published author, DeCree Marshall, an active member at Victorious Living Christian Center.

Marshall shares, “Sexual addiction and perversion has the capability of destroying you. I’m a living witness. I am thankful to share my story because I know God’s grace and mercy was with me. It starts out with a little bit of this and that. Before you know it, you find yourself in a deep dark mess. You find yourself yearning for a deeper satisfaction that never exists. I was told a person addicted to crack cocaine is always looking for that first high they received when they first tried crack. They become addicts because they never find ‘that high’ they are in search of. With regards to sexual addiction, the ‘normal’ stuff no longer satisfies you. You begin seeking out the abnormal and distorted sexual fantasies. The stuff that crosses over to perversion.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Decree Marshall’s new book assures anyone that no one is alone in his or her inner battles; anyone can run into the Lord who saves mankind from the sins they commit and the different forms of evil they encounter in their lives.

This powerful book specifically features testimonies from her life struggles as a bisexual stripper, a battered mother, rape victim, survivor, adulterer, sex addict, and a depressed woman. It also includes Marshall’s encouraging words to her readers to keep the faith and live life with courage despite hardships.
