Winner of SABRE® Safe Is Smart Scholarship Sweepstakes Announced
Sonora, California (PRWEB) September 22, 2017 -- SABRE is pleased to announce the winner of the inaugural SABRE Safe Is Smart Scholarship Sweepstakes.
Molli C., a graduate student from Sonora, California, who will begin her studies this fall semester pursuing an MS in Educational Leadership and Administration at St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida, was selected from a pool of more than 50,000 applicants to receive the $15,000 award.
SABRE offered this scholarship as a way of saying thanks to students, and their parents.
“It is a huge blessing for me after a very difficult year,” Molli said. “I am a first-generation college student, and the opportunity to pursue an advanced degree in a field (special education) that I am so passionate about is beyond belief. My thanks go out to SABRE—both for keeping people safe with their pepper and bear spray, and for helping me to realize my college dream.”
The SABRE Safe Is Smart Scholarship Sweepstakes, the company’s first such promotion, invited college, university, and trade school students across the country to register online between July 1 and September 3, 2017. Nance stated that more than 50,000 students from across the country entered.
