The Georgia Manufacturing Alliance(GMA) Appoints Anna Burrell as Membership Coordinator/Executive Assistant
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) September 24, 2017 -- The Georgia Manufacturing Alliance (GMA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Anna Burrell as the new Membership Coordinator & Executive Assistant. Ms. Burrell is a recent graduate of Bob Jones University where she received a degree in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing. With her educational background and experience with Georgia-based companies, Ms. Burrell will be vital in maintaining a rapidly increasing membership base while assisting in everyday marketing and administrative functions.

The Georgia Manufacturing Alliance has seen tremendous growth this year and now has over 250 members and five regional chapters. GMA will host over 100 events this year including plant tours, networking events, trade shows, and educational sessions. GMA’s largest event of the year is the Georgia Manufacturing Summit, which will be held October 25, 2017, at the Cobb Galleria. It is expected to attract over 700 manufacturing professionals from across Georgia.
“Anna will be handling the registration process for all of our events and has joined our team at the perfect time as we head into the Georgia Manufacturing Summit,” said Mr. Jason Moss, CEO of the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance. “We have outstanding Keynote and Panel Speakers and our registrations for the Summit have doubled over last year so we are expecting our best event yet.”
Considered the “Manufacturing Event of the Year”, the Summit Keynote Speakers include Debra Shankle, V.P. of Supply Chain for Coca-Cola North America, and Rob Dugas, the Chief Procurement Officer and V.P. of Chick-fil-A. They will address the “Trends to Track for 2018” and the impact of manufacturing on the Food & Beverage Industry. The event will have over 20 of the top industry leaders provide an educational forum to discuss Manufacturing a Better Bottom Line, Supply Chain & Logistics, Workforce Development, IT and Technology Advances, Sales and Marketing Trends, and International Trade.
