METIS Solutions, LLC has Appointed Dr. Mike Vickers an Independent Member of its Board of Directors
Arlington, VA (PRWEB) September 26, 2017 -- METIS Solutions, LLC announced today the appointment of Dr. Mike Vickers as an independent member of its Board of Directors.

Dr. Vickers has devoted his life to public service, bringing 42 years of total experience as a Green Beret, a CIA paramilitary operations officer, and a high-ranking Pentagon official to the table. He served as the head military strategist for the United States during the Soviet war in Afghanistan, when he notably provided direction to forces made up of over 500,000 Afghan forces and coordinating the effort with ten countries. This incredible feat has been noted in books, documentaries, and movies such as the 2007 award-winning film, “Charlie Wilson’s War”. In addition to his Special Operations Forces experience, Vickers had policy oversight of all strategic forces (nuclear weapons, missile defense, space, cyber), conventional force transformation (air, ground and maritime), and wrote the defense planning guidance to direct all defense capability investments.
