Work Zone Cam Premieres Time-Lapse of University of Notre Dame Campus Crossroads
New York, NY (PRWEB) September 26, 2017 -- The newly renovated Notre Dame Stadium on the University of Notre Dame Campus in Indiana is officially open! Work Zone Cam, a leading provider of time-lapse construction cameras, worked with the University to get fans game-ready by sharing updating views of construction for the historic Campus Crossroads Project online and recently released a time-lapse movie of the entire process.
The University relied on Work Zone Cam’s high-quality imagery and reliable service to document each stage of the construction process from November 2014 to September 2017. Work Zone Cam installed 6 DSLR webcams at strategic points throughout the jobsite to ensure complete documentation from multiple perspectives for archival record. The new time-lapse movie showcases 34 months of construction progress in just 90 seconds, from groundbreaking to the fans streaming into the upgraded stadium for opening day.
The Campus Crossroads Project is the largest building initiative in the history of the University of Notre Dame. Renovations to the 87-year-old stadium include new spacious seating throughout the bowl, ribbon video boards and a large tunnel so fans can watch as the Fighting Irish make their way to the field. Additionally, about 800,000-square-feet of classroom, student life and hospitality space was added via three new buildings – Duncan Student Center, Corbett Family Hall and O’Neill Hall – adjacent to the west, east and south sides of the stadium. Each building features a “green” roof, including 43,000-square-feet of roof space covered with living plants as a commitment to sustainability.
Cheer on the Fighting Irish and relive construction of The Campus Crossroads Project at the University of Notre Dame with Work Zone Cam’s new time-lapse movie.
