For the past 27 years, SAMHSA, through its observance of National Recovery month, has highlighted the achievements of individuals who have reclaimed their lives in long-term recovery and honors the treatment and recovery service providers who make recovery possible. It also promotes awareness of actions we can all take to expand the availability of services for those in need.
