4 Eco Services, Inc., a Kansas City, MO-based privately held local provider of residential heating, air conditioning, plumbing, and central water filtration services, announced today that it has acquired the assets of Roger the Plumber of Lenexa, KS.

For over 67 years, the iconic Roger the Plumber has provided local homeowners with professional plumbing and drain cleaning services as both a local and nationally recognized leader in the plumbing trade.

The operation will move forward with 4 Eco Services’ CEO Jeremy Prevost and Ryan Peugeot of Roger the Plumber serving at its helm.

"The culture that Roger the Plumber was founded on was one of discretion and loyalty to the families it has served over past 67 years. Roger’s business meshes well with the 4 Eco Services culture," said Prevost.

“We selected 4 Eco Services because of their good relationship with their customers founded on trust and customer service, as well as their history and commitment to quality." said Roger Peugeot, President and Chief Operating Officer at Roger the Plumber.

Peugeot added, “In 4 Eco Services, we have found a partner and a leadership team that embody the philosophies on which Roger the Plumber was founded. Together, we plan to install a process-driven business culture that will take us to the next level as well as add both HVAC and water filtration to our service offering. I am confident that, under the visionary leadership of Ryan Peugeot, Roger the Plumber will realize its full potential."

Roger the Plumber has received many accolades, including:

2000 - NAPHCC Plumbing Contractor Of The Year
2002 - 25 Under 25 Award
2006 - QSC (Quality Service Contractors) Contractor Of The Year
2008 - SBC (Small Business Association) Family Owned Business Of The Year
2009 – Wall Street Journal Feature

“I began with just my dad when he bought out his father’s plumbing and heating business which began in 1950. Our last name is Peugeot, pronounced just like the automobile, POOH-joe. That can be a challenge for some to pronounce and remember, so Dad became known simply as Roger, the plumber. Today Roger the Plumber is much more than Roger Peugeot. Under dad’s original vision and leadership, we are a successful, dynamic plumbing business with over 70,000 customers in our database. Some even fifth generation customers,” said Roger Peugeot.

This strategic acquisition comes at a great time for 4 Eco Services who recently acquired another local 40-year old HVAC business.

"This acquisition will allow us to bring world-class plumbing service to more customers in the Kansas City market. Said Ian Williams, 4 Eco Services General Manager.

We are excited about the synergies in combining both a 40-year old HVAC business and a 67-year old iconic plumbing company and industry leader to our fold. We believe we’ve established a foundation for what we expect will be the best in class home service experience for our customers, and will continue to provide exceptional service to their customers while growing in ways they wouldn't have been able to on their own." Williams added.
