HNTB’s Laddie Irion elected to chair the board of directors for ACI-NA World Business Partners/Associates
(PRWEB) September 27, 2017 -- Laddie Irion, HNTB Corporation’s national aviation market sector leader and senior vice president, was elected to chair the 2018 board of directors for Airports Council International – North America, World Business Partners and Associates. The election results were announced during a special reception at the 2017 ACI-NA Annual Conference and Exhibition on Sept. 19, 2017, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Irion previously served on the board of directors and was previously chair of this board in 2010. The ACI-NA’s WBP/Associates board represents the ACI-NA members that are business organizations that support the airport industry.
“I’m pleased to continue my leadership within ACI-NA and to support the airports and businesses that are members of this important industry association. Now more than ever, it is important that we continue to work together to deliver the facilities and programs at North American airports that are necessary to provide the safe and efficient transit of passengers and goods to grow the economy,” said Irion.
In his role as HNTB’s national aviation market sector leader, Irion works closely with industry leadership to achieve strategic goals and broaden the range of value-based consulting services that HNTB provides its aviation clients. Irion is based in Tampa, Florida.
According to Engineering News-Record’s Top Design Firms Sourcebook for 2017, HNTB moved up in the rankings to the top six airport consulting firms in the United States.
