Third Annual Technology and Business Thought Leadership Event to Attract 250 Attendees; Will Feature TED-style Discussions on Tech Mega Trends, Best Practices Sharing

Carousel Industries, a leader in communication and network technologies, professional and managed services, and cloud solutions, today announced its 2017 AlwaysOn Technology Symposium, which takes place Thursday, October 19 at the Rhode Island Convention Center.

The third annual AlwaysOn Technology Symposium (AOTS) is a one-day event designed by Carousel to help IT leaders better educate their business and operations counterparts about existing and imminent trends so the organization can hear about them from IT first. Throughout the event, Carousel executives, subject matter experts and clients will dive deep into mega trends that are impacting how companies manage IT. Through inspirational TED-like talks and peer networking opportunities, the event will help attendees realize the “aha” moments that lead to positive transformation and lasting change for themselves and their organizations. AOTS is modeled after the highly successful AlwaysOn Leadership Symposium, which drew four hundred attendees in May.

“The AlwaysOn Technology Symposium will bring the concept of ‘resiliency’ to life for Carousel clients who will derive great value from informative keynotes, experiential learning exercises and exchange of ideas and best practices around innovation and IT,” said Chris Poe, SVP of Technology and Engineering of Carousel Industries. “Picking up where our 2017 AlwaysOn Leadership Symposium left off, AOTS will address the most critical issues facing businesses globally, including cyber security, hyper convergence and the continued proliferation of mobility and cloud solutions.”

AOTS will provide attendees with the visions, insights, perspectives and strategies to continue to increase their strategic business value to their organizations. Carousel executives and clients will explore the latest innovations happening in the technology landscape and, more importantly, share prescriptive frameworks for rapidly executing organizational change.

Agenda Highlights
The event will feature multiple sessions throughout the day. Keynote speakers will include Gary Barnett, SVP & General Manager – Engagement Solutions, Avaya and Ehrika Gladden, VP Market Strategy, Cisco. A Cybersecurity Panel Discussion facilitated by Carousel’s new CISO Jason Albuquerque will include executives from Cisco, Cylance, Fortinet and Varonis.
