Minnesota IT Executives Gather in Minneapolis on October 24 for Education, Collaboration, Networking
Minneapolis, Minnesota (PRWEB) October 01, 2017 -- The 17th Annual Minnesota IT Symposium is returning to the Twin Cities at the DoubleTree Hilton Bloomington on October 24, 2017. This is a one-day, executive-level event designed for Chief Information Officers and their management teams. There will be over 200 CIOs, VPs, and Directors present at this year’s event.
The event will be highlighted by three keynote speakers. Retired Minnesota Vikings linebacker Chad Greenway will open the day as he shares his leadership lessons learned from mentors, teammates, coaches and experiences from his youth on the family farm.
Cargill’s Chief Technology Officer, Keith Narr, will share information on Cargill’s Digitalization Journey to transform and modernize the agricultural giant. We will discuss key investments in technology along with cultural changes as the company continues to update fundamentals to serve the business needs of today while also creating space for innovation that keeps Cargill ahead of the “digital curve” and leading in its market.
The day will end with a special guest, Richard “Pitch” Picciotto. “Pitch” was in the stairwell between the sixth and seventh floors of the North Tower as it collapsed. Richard will recount that extraordinary day and leadership lessons utilized on 9/11. Richard is a retired Battalion Commander that led his team in the rescue efforts on 9/11. Richard will share the story from the time of the call, to the evacuation attempt, through the collapse of both towers. Although you may feel trapped in your everyday “grind”, there are always things that a leader can do to rise above. “Pitch” will share what his team did when trapped in the rubble of a 100+ story building. Everyone can learn from this presentation.
