Hawaii Life Flight Earns Third Consecutive NAAMTA Medical Transport Accreditation

Using a comprehensive audit of administrative documentation, facilities, and medical practices, NAAMTA is awarding Medical Transport Accreditation to Hawaii Life Flight. NAAMTA’s Accreditation focuses on quality patient care and transport safety.

Roylen Griffin, NAAMTA’s Executive Director said, “Hawaii Life Flight will be entering their 7th year of accreditation and demonstrating a continuous commitment to exemplary patient care and transport safety as defined in the NAAMTA standards.

Using a comprehensive audit of administrative documentation, medical practices, and facilities, NAAMTA is awarding Hawaii Life Flight accreditation for their medical transport program. NAAMTA’s Accreditation focuses on quality patient care and transport safety.

Hawaii Life Flight demonstrates compliance to each of the defined standards, excels in identifying best practice procedures, and instills these values in their employees. NAAMTA verified compliance through employee interviews, process reviews, and on-site evaluations, all of which were conducted using ISO 9001:2015 auditing guidelines.

In addition to the accreditation award, Hawaii Life Flight continues as a member of the NAAMTA Alliance. This alliance unifies accredited organizations in the promotion of continuous improvement through shared education, experience, and quality management principles by Alliance members.
