Allison Wilbanks, Physician Assistant, Joins U.S. Dermatology Partners East Texas on October 5th
Tyler, Texas (PRWEB) October 04, 2017 -- Allison Wilbanks, a board-certified physician assistant, has joined the Tyler office of U.S. Dermatology Partners. She will work in the Tyler and Lindale offices and will begin treating patients Oct. 2, 2017.
Allison grew up in Tyler and attended Texas A&M University, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science. Allison then graduated in 2011 from the University of North Texas Health Science Center with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies.
She joins U.S. Dermatology Partners of Tyler after spending six years practicing dermatology in Mansfield, Texas, near Fort Worth.
Allison is particularly interested in skin cancer treatment and prevention as well as other common dermatology concerns, such as acne and rashes. She’s also interested in cosmetic dermatology and has specific training in many cosmetic therapies, including Botox, Juvéderm, and Restylane.
“It’s rewarding to not only treat immediate skin problems that a patient may be suffering with but also to help prevent further issues through skin cancer screenings and overall healthy practices,” Allison says. “When I treat patients, I hope to be helping them on their journey to overall health and wellbeing that will ultimately reflect in their skin.”
Allison and her husband are thrilled to be back in East Texas, near family and the natural beauty of the Piney Woods. They love spending time with their children, taking neighborhood walks, exploring parks and walking their basset hound.
