Screenflex Portable Partitions, Inc., a longtime provider of portable room dividers, today announces the expansion of their manufacturing facility in Lake Zurich, IL. The new space, which is connected to the company’s international headquarters, doubles Screenflex’s current production and storage capacity.

“With this new facility space, we can increase the fabrication of room dividers because of improved work cell flow and management,” says John Maas, Screenflex President. “In turn, we are able to satisfy the need from our customers of shorter lead times. Our goal is to deliver quality, USA made partitions as quickly as possible so the customer can begin using their space more effectively.”

The 26,000-sq. ft. addition boasts energy efficient motion activated LED lighting and increased insulation material for temperature control. Maas adds, “Smart planning in the construction of our original warehouse space in 1998, included full beam support for future expansion. The current addition looks like it’s always been there.”

This increased space has already had an impact on our ability to rapidly and efficiently build quality room dividers-demonstrating meaningful value to our customers. Additionally, with increased production comes the possible need for a larger skilled labor employee base.
