New organization offers unique, holistic approach to improving patient outcomes

Learners, clients and collaborators from across the healthcare system—which include some of the most prominent hospitals, health systems, and academic medical centers in the country—have warmly embraced our integrated solutions, and new engagements have been commissioned.

Med-IQ, a leading provider of clinical and risk management education, consulting, and quality improvement solutions, today announced its new organization, brand, and approach to improving patient outcomes, both across the United States and worldwide.

Part of the Coverys family of companies, Med-IQ represents the unification of three Coverys acquisitions—ELM Exchange, MRM Group, and Med-IQ—along with Coverys’ healthcare provider education department. These four organizations were leaders in their respective areas of education and outcome improvement, and together, their competencies and expertise are now being leveraged to deliver even greater value and outcomes throughout their ecosystem of clients, partners, providers, and patients.

The new Med-IQ approach is unique, and is believed to be an important innovation in the way healthcare providers and organizations improve their performance and the care delivered to patients. By bringing together expertise in clinical medicine, risk management, quality improvement, law/compliance, and patient engagement, the company is able to incorporate a broad and unified perspective into its solutions, eliminating siloed, inconsistent learning across the enterprise.

“We are incredibly excited about our new organization, and what Med-IQ will be able to achieve operating as a unified team and offering integrated solutions,” said Scott Weber, president of Med-IQ. “Since our integration process began nearly a year ago, I have been truly amazed by the talent across the company, and the team’s genuine passion for improving patient experiences and healthcare outcomes.”

The company’s new approach has already been well received. “Since early this year, our founding organizations have been offering expanded products and services,” Mr. Weber added. “Learners, clients and collaborators from across the healthcare system—which include some of the most prominent hospitals, health systems, and academic medical centers in the country—have warmly embraced our integrated solutions, and new engagements have been commissioned. We have shown that the Med-IQ value proposition is greater than the sum of its parts, and more than ever before, we are uniquely-positioned to play a significant role in improving healthcare outcomes.”
