David Goings Joins Utelogy as Vice President of Product Development

Utelogy, which makes software for control, enterprise management and analytics of audiovisual systems for business and education, announces that David Goings joins the company as Vice President, Product Development.

Utelogy co-founder and CTO Scott McGarrigle summarized the importance of the hire this way, “David Goings has a proven track record of building and leading technology delivery teams in a disciplined approach to the product development process. We look forward to his expertise in modern development platforms and his leadership to continue to fuel the growth of our platform.”

Mr. Goings began his career at Microsoft and has served in a senior director capacity at Neudesic, and most recently InMotion Leasing, bringing a depth of experience from across many different industries including audiovisual and infotainment. Goings holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Tuskegee University.

“Leading the team and cultivating an environment where individual team members can bring their technical skills and creativity in problem resolution and product excellence is what I look forward to accomplishing,” said Mr. Goings. “With the growth Utelogy has enjoyed, and the potential for even more expansion, product development will have a crucial role in maintaining Utelogy as an industry leader. I’m excited about getting back into the AV industry and how this technology will enrich the experience.”
