MEDIA ADVISORY: Intrinsic ID CEO Pim Tuyls to Speak on IoT Security at Embedded Systems Conference December 7 in San Jose
SUNNYVALE, Calif. (PRWEB) December 05, 2017 -- Intrinsic ID®, the world’s leading provider of digital authentication technology for Internet of Things security and embedded applications, today announced Chief Executive Officer Pim Tuyls will speak at Embedded Systems Conference 2017, to be held December 5-7 in San Jose.
WHAT:
In his presentation entitled “Authenticate Everything,” Tuyls will address how, as growth in the Internet of Things continues to yield opportunity and benefit, ensuring its security has not kept pace. Protecting endpoints to ensure an IoT that all can trust comes with undeniable costs. The flexibility to generate keys at any point in the supply chain is very desirable, but also very costly. Ensuring reliability in a chosen IoT security is similarly necessary, but also comes at a cost. Only through an approach to security based on unassailable endpoint identity and absolute confidence in authentication can these ongoing and growing mandates be met. This presentation will demonstrate the advanced security derived from SRAM PUF-based device identity creation and corresponding device authentication.
WHEN:
Dec. 7, 2017
11 a.m. PST
WHERE:
San Jose Convention Center, Room 210BF
