Apple is continuing their push into Augmented Reality by putting Pair Home Design app in every store

Starting Oct 1st, Apple has included the Pair Augmented Reality design and furnishings app on every demonstration iPad in the Apple Store, and retail iPad partners in the US and UK, continuing their push to make Augmented Reality mainstream.

If it wasn’t clear already that Apple is all in on Augmented Reality (AR), they are solidifying their position by putting AR apps front and center on their demonstration devices in Apple and Partner stores across the world. Since the release of ARKit, a tool that allows app developers to seamlessly create complex AR applications, and AR optimized iPhones and iPads with iOS11, Apple has thrown fuel on the mobile Augmented Reality fire.

Starting in October, Apple has put the Pair AR Home Design and Furnishings app ( on every demonstration iPad in Apple stores and Retail iPad partners in the United States, United Kingdom, Turkey and Singapore. Apple chose Pair because it best represents a high value, well designed and easy to use Augmented Reality app.

Apple is accelerating their promotion of AR to consumers, securing their place as a leader in the AR ecosystem as well as driving adoption of Apple devices that give a superior AR experience. Apple wants to drive more and more developers to create AR applications, and since the release of iOS11 has heavily promoted AR applications on the app store.
