Gold Rush Express, to be Featured on “World’s Greatest!…” Television Show
San Jose, California (PRWEB) October 12, 2017 -- 30 years after Gold Rush Express was founded, they’ll be featured on an episode of “World’s Greatest!…” television show.
In 1987, Frank and Donna Dicker, along with their son J.R., were pursuing the American dream. The dream of creating a family business they could one day pass down to future generations.
They utilized their experience and contacts in the banking and financial services industry to provide courier and delivery services. This was the start of Gold Rush Express. Over the years, the company has become an industry leader in the San Jose community, thanks in part to the efforts of J.R., President and CEO.
“I care about our company, but also, the industry as a whole,” said J.R., former President, and current board member of, the California Delivery Association. “The industry is changing as more giant corporations start providing delivery services, and we want to ensure that everyone is participating on a level playing field.”
J.R. added, “I’m a person that wants to help people. How can we provide value for our clients – save them money or time, reduce their liability? Our first responsibility is to not let people down. We take pride in our proactive communication. If there is a problem, we should be notifying our clients ahead of time, so they aren’t surprised.”
It’s this commitment to superior service that has allowed Gold Rush Express to succeed, while many other companies in the industry have failed. “We want our customers, employees and people who work with us to fall in love with us. We want to be a company people can be proud of working for and with,” J.R. said.
“It’s really a family atmosphere here. My daughter, Rachelle, is our general manager. So now the next generation is keeping the family legacy going. One day, she’ll take the reins and lead the business into the future.”
Rachelle Dicker is looking forward to carrying on the family-like atmosphere at the company her father and grandparents started. “We genuinely care about our clients and our staff. We may not be perfect, but we try to be. We’re working hard to incorporate technology updates to make things more efficient for our clients and employees.”
She continued, “We’ve had the opportunity to pick up organs from Stanford University that were needed for a transplant, and were trusted to get them delivered. We are literally changing people’s lives. And to be a part of something like that is pretty exciting.”
“When I think about all of the ways we’ve been able to be involved in, and support the community, and the people who have been able to provide for their families because of this company my father and grandparents started – I’m proud to be a part of it.”
It’s this family atmosphere, and dedication to excellent service and value that brought Gold Rush Express to the attention of the producers of “World’s Greatest!…” television show, produced by How 2 Media. Gold Rush Express will be featured in the upcoming Episode 249 of “World’s Greatest!…” which is scheduled to air October 16th, and October 30th.
