Cognition Corporation, a software company specializing in medical device compliance and commercialization, is hosting October sessions of its From the Helm webinar series.

These half-hour sessions will discuss the benefits of using a guided approach to usability engineering and risk management. David Cronin, Cognition’s CEO, will guide attendees through addressing risk exercises such as Use Error Analysis in an online environment and the subsequent impact on that can have on product development. The two sessions will occur October 25 and October 26.

“Usability is just one of the many complex, moving parts in product development,” says Mr. Cronin. “Assessing how to manage the exercises teams will undergo during usability and how it fits into and impacts the flow of the overall product development process is important to address.”

These webinars are the next set of a series featured by Cognition. Every month, members of the Cockpit Crew host public sessions discussing the latest trends in the medical device, pharmaceutical, and combination products industries.

“We hope to provide a perspective on what we’ve seen in these industries,” says Mr. Cronin, “along with engaging in dialogue that helps us all grow.”

Spots are limited, so Cognition encourages everyone who is interested in attending the webinar to sign up soon. Click here for the October 25 session registration site, or here for October 26.
