Applications for the 2017 Leadership Week session are now open for qualified applicants from across the spectrum of industries and the region. Entrepreneur /CEOs who strive to be the best they can possibly be and seek to improve their teams’ performance to an extreme level, leaders who are looking to disrupt their industries and make a difference are encouraged to apply on the PS27 website.
“Leadership week is a great way to meet other entrepreneurs and hear their experiences. You will learn a lot about yourself and your business in the process. For me leadership week was a great place to align my team and goals for the success of our business in the coming year.” said Jeff Charette founder of Menuat who participated last year.
PS27 has hosted leadership week for the past 4 years and is now opening up applications to teams outside its group for the first time. Web.com (WEB) CEO, David Brown, will be the keynote speaker at the leadership week finale on Thursday Nov. 9th at 6pm. This year’s addition will also include a Shark Tank module which will feature several of the companies in front of investors and a live audience.
The week is an intense, hands on and highly interactive experience. Each session is guided by experienced subject matter experts in the critical aspects of leadership and building a positive, high performance culture. Every module has a prerequisite prior, a classroom module and follow-up one on one sessions with the instructor.
“Leadership Week is big time training for growing companies. The caliber of the presenters and the quality of the programming was second to none. I strongly encourage Founders and their leadership team to attend! I trust that you’ll be glad you did.” said Julie Anderson, who participated in the 2016 leadership week event.
PS27 believes at the heart of every successful company is a great leader. The Leadership Week program has evolved over the years from an informal dinner roundtable in 2013 to a 4-day workshop.
"Leadership Week is totally unique is its focus on the "soft" skills of the founder, areas like emotional intelligence, clarity in communication and setting goals. These areas are far more important to the long term success of the company than raising capital, based on our experience working with hundreds of CEOs," says Jim Stallings, Founder of PS27.
Teams are encouraged to apply ASAP by visiting PS27ventures.com/leadershipweek.
