NewNet Communication Technologies, global provider of secure transaction transport systems, today announced a secure payment transport and acquiring solution for Amazon Web Services (AWS). NewNet’s new Secure Transaction Cloud (STC) solution with AWS CloudHSM launched on AWS Marketplace and is designed to provide payment providers with a secure cloud payment handling application vital for transporting high volumes of transactions.
NewNet’s STC solution is a comprehensive cloud-based secure payment acquiring and transport application with advanced data security, point-to-point encryption and tokenization for facilitating the end-to-end security of payment transactions. NewNet’s STC solution runs on AWS and is backed by AWS CloudHSM. STC is now available on AWS Marketplace for trial, allowing customers to experience its security payment transaction routing and aggregation capabilities.
With AWS CloudHSM’s advanced encryption and hardware security capabilities, NewNet’s STC gives customers a cloud payment application for scalable, resilient and high-speed payment handling.
Now available on AWS Marketplace, NewNet’s STC payment application solution is designed to allow for faster modernization while lowering risk for a broad spectrum of payment ecosystem participants, including acquirers, processors, payment service providers, transaction network service providers, merchant service providers, retail chains, mobile network operators and telecommunication companies, banks, financial institutions and other fin-tech providers in the payment transaction domain.
“With a cloud-based payment transport and acquiring application, NewNet’s STC solution enables the payment transaction acquiring and processing industry with one of the most innovative and advanced payment applications in a high security cloud for seamless migration and significant economic value,” said Devarajan Puthupparambil, Head of NewNet’s Secure Transactions Division. “The virtualized payment and security functions of STC operating on AWS provide high security for payment transactions, with AWS CloudHSM FIPS 140-2 Level 3 compliant platform enabling crypto operations including encryptions using long length keys to be handled completely within hardware security boundaries. This new delivery platform allows NewNet to extend its payment gateway technology to new and existing customer segments.”
"The new CloudHSM service from AWS improves security and simplifies high-availability for our customers while also lowering cost,” said Eric Docktor, Director of AWS Cryptography at Amazon Web Services, Inc. "We are excited to see NewNet take advantage of these capabilities to build a fully cloud-native payments solution that gives their customers high-volume, low-latency payment processing.”
NewNet’s STC solution offers virtual networks functions (VNF) based virtualized secure payment applications with a broad range of VNF for payment transaction routing and added security, including:
- TLS, IPsec, SSH;
