Partnership focuses on developing safe, lightweight, rugged and long-lasting power solutions for warfighters and first responders in the field

Inventus Power, a systems manufacturer of battery packs, chargers and power supplies for the military, consumer, commercial/industrial and medical markets, today announced it entered into an agreement with Spartan Strategy and Risk Management to develop new proprietary mobile power solutions for government and defense applications.

Led by Chief Executive Officer Dr. Ronald J. Clark, Spartan Strategy works intensely with innovative companies and partners that provide distinctly differentiated and uniquely valuable products to the warfighter or first responder, with the end goal of enabling partners to drive growth, build relationships and enhance product development, adoption and positioning.

Dr. Clark is a former Deputy Under Secretary for the Department of Homeland Security where he led a combined team of over 16,000 federal law enforcement, civilian and contracted personnel. Dr. Clark previously served in the White House under President Barack Obama, President George W. Bush and enabled the transition with the Trump Administration. Dr. Clark also spent over 20 years as a Marine Corps infantry and force reconnaissance officer.

“Dr. Clark’s thorough and first-hand knowledge of the mission-critical power requirements for the warfighter and first responder in the field is an invaluable asset to Inventus Power,” said Mike Stein, Director of Military & Defense Product & Program Management for Inventus Power. “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to leverage his experience to continue to develop safe, lightweight, rugged and long-lasting dependable power solutions to OEMs developing devices for defense and government industries.”

“Inventus Power has already proven itself as a capable force behind the military, government and defense markets. Its Conformal Wearable Battery (CWB) product line offers a safe, ergonomic, centralized power solution that reduces weight and the overall number of batteries for up to 72 hours before needing to replace or recharge batteries,” said Dr. Clark. “The company’s dedication to providing the military with cutting-edge solutions, makes me confident that Spartan Strategy and Inventus Power will together create innovative mobile power solutions to support devices that keep warfighters and first responders safely powered up while in the field.”

Inventus Power’s global manufacturing facilities are ISO 9001:2008 and EISA, ROHS, and CEC compliant. Its U.S. facility additionally meets International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and manufactures to MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461 standards.
