Mediaplanet announces distribution of its sixth cross-platform edition of “Hispanic Heritage.” Leaders in the industry have joined forces to celebrate Latinos despite a variety of hardships through administration changes over the past year. This campaign aims to empower future leaders, highlight current issues within the Latino community and inspire readers to recognize how their own lives have been influenced by this rich culture.

The print component of “Hispanic Heritage” is distributed within the LA Times, with a circulation of approximately 455,000 and an estimated readership of 1.4 million. Additionally, the campaign is published today within HOY, in Spanish. The digital component is distributed nationally, through a vast social media strategy and across a network of top news sites and partner outlets. Also featured are Olympic Gold Medalist Laurie Hernandez, journalist Soledad O’Brien and “Jane the Virgin” stars Jaime Camil and Yara Martinez, who all share stories to join the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
