“My Heart, His Vessel”: a collection of poetry that testifies to the healing power of God. “My Heart, His Vessel” is the creation of published author, Diana Hall. Hall accepted Christ in 2001 when she was baptized at Calvary Chapel of Blythe, California. Diana Hall is a Poet for Christ, a wife to an amazing, loving husband who prayed with her and for her, which is why his written essay about love is included in her book. She is a mother to four wonderful adult Children and a grandma, a.k.a. Nana, to three wonderful grandchildren. Diana Hall began writing in 2002 and continues to write as she feels guided by the Holy Spirit. Her poems come from the deepest parts of her heart and the things she had experienced throughout her life. Diana Hall picked the title “My Heart, His Vessel” because, as God stirs her heart to love, He causes her hand to write.
“I first learned of His love, and that allowed Him into a part of my heart I didn’t know existed, and then He put the medicine that only He could give to a deeply wounded heart that had festering wounds of the past. I found myself at first wanting to run from the wounds of that little girl in me, like a child who pulls back their hand, not wanting you to touch their sore. But you must first clean the wounds before you put the medicine on it, and that is what God did in me; He cleaned my heart and applied the medicine only God can give.” --Diana Hall
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Diana Hall’s new book recounts the personal story of the author’s healing.
“My Heart, His Vessel” is a collection of poems derived from the deepest parts of author Diana Hall’s heart. It is her heart, opened wide for the whole world to see. God wooed her with His love and the sacrifice He made to save all. Every time she experienced His love, she opened her heart a little bit more. As she opened her heart to Him, He took a broken vessel and healed the cracks that once defined who she was.
The love of God is medicine that only He can give. God healed the little girl inside Diana Hall and allowed the woman to run free. Diana Hall now shares a bond with God that can never be broken. With the cracks in her vessel healed, readers will see a river of living water that flows from Him to her. In “My Heart, His Vessel,” readers will experience her growth as a poet in addition to her growth as a faithful student of God.
