Over 50,000 animals have been adopted from or as a result of an Amazing Pet Expo since 2009, and in order to ensure more pets than ever find forever homes, Amazing Pet Expos is eliminating booth fees entirely for verified rescue groups or shelters.

“We have always provided space to rescues at our cost, as we do not charge a general admission to the public to attend the events, and we have recently set aside a limited number of smaller spaces in each show that are free” says Sheila Rilenge of Amazing Pet Expos, “But recent experiences have led us to make the decision to eliminate any booth costs at all to verified rescues and shelters.”

The overall mission of Amazing Pet Expos is to help make people better pet companions. Since 2009, over 1.8 million attendees have attended one of 178 Amazing Pet Expos, allowing nearly 10,000 exhibitors to give the best information about pet guardianship to the public.

“Our goal is to find homes for pets and present the public with information, services, products and resources in their pet communities and throughout the country” says Rilenge. “We feel this change is an important part of keeping that focus and sending a message to rescues and shelters that we appreciate the work and effort that goes into finding a home for every pet they save.”

Each Amazing Pet Expo has at least 75 local and national exhibitors, free nail trims, low cost vaccinations, and meet and greets with local and national pet advocates. Each show is open to the public, and allows attendees to bring their pet companions – as long as they have their proof of vaccinations.

Verification guidelines and more details will be announced through the Amazing Pet Expos website at
