InventHelp, founded in 1984 in Pittsburgh, is attempting to submit this idea, Powered Luggage, to applicable companies for their consideration.

PITTSBURGH...An inventor from Houston, Texas, has developed the POWERED LUGGAGE, an improved article of luggage that can more easily be transported. It allows individuals to more easily travel with luggage.

"I have observed travelers across many airports struggling with their luggage. It occurred to me that luggage could be motorized, making it easier for travelers to get around," said the inventor. The POWERED LUGGAGE reduces the stress associated with traveling. In addition, it may eliminate the strain placed upon the individual’s wrist, arm or shoulders as well as the general fatigue associated with transporting luggage. Ultimately, this line of luggage will lead to a more enjoyable vacation or business trip.

The original design was submitted to the Houston office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
