EPI-USE Labs and Revelation Software Concepts Team Up to Offer SAP Customers “Refresh as a Service”
MELBOURNE, Australia (PRWEB) November 06, 2017 -- EPI-USE Labs, a leading SAP landscape optimisation provider, and Revelation Software Concepts Pty Ltd (RSC), creator of the market leading Rev-Trac® SAP change control automation platform, today announced a strategic alliance to develop and market a new Refresh as a Service (RAAS) offering to support an automated and seamless SAP landscape refresh. The combined solution, rolling out in the APAC region, will provide a two-pronged approach to system copies. EPI-USE Labs Data Sync Manager™ (DSM) will be used for the automated copy and scramble of data to non-production systems, and RSC’s Rev-Trac will be used to identify transport re-import requirements across non-production systems.
Any WIP (work in progress) SAP transports present in the target refresh system need to be reapplied following the refresh. Identifying these transports pre- and post- refresh is difficult, and takes users a considerable amount of time to investigate, identify and then reapply the missing transports.

EPI-USE Labs’ consultants will be able to quickly identify the SAP Transports that may need to be re-imported, efficiently perform the import of the transports and leave the customer with a fully synchronised system post service. The SAP-certified DSM product suite facilitates the rapid creation of new non-production systems, reduces the data footprint when refreshing existing test clients or creating new ones, and copies selected data on demand, all with integrated scrambling of data for security.
